Description: Roy is a health care policy wonk, but also discusses foreign policy with a variety of experts. He served as a health care policy adviser to Rick Perry, Marco Rubio, and Mitt Romney. Some of his work has centered on the gnawing question about Obamacare and the millions of people who will benefit from it, namely those who would get some form of insurance through the exchanges, high premiums notwithstanding. The message from the GOP still comes off as "we’re going to take your stuff," which is always an election loser. He wrote a white paper that sought to blend the Singapore and Switzerland systems in order to solve this problem.
