TMZ initially reported Avenatti's estranged wife Lisa Storie-Avenatti filed a complaint with the Los Angeles Police Department on Wednesday that alleged an altercation at a Century City apartment building the day before left her with serious face injuries, but Storie-Avenatti, through her attorney, said it wasn't true in a statement to BuzzFeed News.
"My client and I have reviewed the TMZ article alleging that my client, Lisa Storie-Avenatti, has been injured and that Michael Avenatti has been arrested as a result of some incident that occurred between them. This article is not true as it pertains to my client," the statement said. "Ms. Storie-Avenatti was not subject to any such incident on Tuesday night. Further, she was not at Mr. Avenatti’s apartment on the date that this alleged incident occurred. My client states that there has never been domestic violence in her relationship with Michael and that she has never known Michael to be physically violent toward anyone."
According to the TMZ report, which has since been updated, Avenatti, 47, alleged that "she hit me first."
TMZ initially reported that Michale Avenatti was arrested for an incident involving his estranged wife. The story's been updated to remove reference of wife -- now just says "a woman." (No correction note)

I spoke with Avenatti's wife on the phone. “I haven’t see Michael in months. It’s a complete fabrication," she said. “Bruises on my face? It is insanity. He wouldn’t hit anybody. Especially a woman. He’s got two daughters.”

New statement from @MichaelAvenatti via his law office: “I have never been physically abusive in my life nor was I last night. Any accusations to the contrary are fabricated and meant to do harm to my reputation. I look forward to being fully exonerated.” pic.twitter.com/f2fnThdt7O

Avenatti is adamant that he will be exonerated of the charges. Nevertheless, the Vermont Democratic Party has cancelled their planned events with Avenatti, a potential 2020 candidate, and has refunded all ticket sales.
There’s a delicious irony to all of this, however. Aren’t we supposed to believe all women here? Is Avenatti calling this woman he allegedly had a physical altercation with a liar? Is he a beater of women? The evidence is not there, but that’s the Left’s rules. Believe all women, all allegations, no matter what because that’s how abjectly stupid these people are; they don’t think women, who last time I checked were part of the human race, can—or would—lie. We’re human beings, and everyone lies.
This comes after Avenatti brought Julie Swetnick into the spotlight. Swetnick was the third woman who was considered by some in the elite media to be a credible accuser of Judge Brett Kavanaugh, President Trump’s Supreme Court nominee who was recently confirmed in October after one of the most vicious confirmation battles in recent memory. Kavanaugh was besieged by sexual misconduct allegations that were baseless and lacked corroborating witnesses. The Democrats had weaponized the Me Too movement to clip a judicial nominee because they didn’t like him—and they hated Trump. Avenatti, who wastes no times getting more air time, decided he would join the crusade and trotted out a woman who had the most insane allegation of all: Kavanaugh never assaulted her, but he ran a gang rape ring in high school.
Yeah, it was total garbage. She was college-aged at the time, so she was hanging with high school kids, saw these horrible acts, and then never told anyone, not even the police? Oh, and she went back to these parties several more times. It wasn’t credible. It was straight trash. And now both Avenatti and Swetnick are facing legal trouble for it; they’ve been referred for criminal investigation over these bogus claims. Yes, it is a crime to give false testimony to the Senate Judiciary Committee.

So, Avenatti tried to ride the ‘believe all women’ wave, only to wipe out on it. And he now could be devoured by it over this arrest. So, left wingers, these are your idiotic rules. Who’s telling the truth? It’s odd. There’s this thing called due process that you seem to forget about, which is perfect in ascertaining the truth, you know, facts, before drawing judgments on such legal matters. At times, judges, juries, and lawyers hash it out in a courtroom, but that takes time and we all know you morons are too impatient for that. But it’s a cornerstone of America’s justice system. You should look it up. It’s something that you never afforded Kavanaugh. Also, what sweet revenge this is too; most of the red state Democratic senators who voted against his confirmation were booted in the 2018 midterms, and now the porn lawyer who tried to get in on it was arrested on allegations of domestic violence. Justice can be sweet.
