Enemy Of The People: CNN Guest Says Trump Has Radicalized More People Than ISIS

There’s media bias, and then there’s total insanity. We caught a taste of that today on Jake Tapper’s program this afternoon. Julia Ioffe of GQ decided to drop the hottest of hot takes in a long, long time: President Donald Trump has radicalized more people than ISIS. Yeah, you read that right.

The panel was discussing the latest string of politically motivated acts of violence. Cesar Sayoc was arrested in Florida after sending explosive devices to top Democrats, former presidents, and celebrities. Robert Bowers committed one of the worst hate crimes in recent memory in Pittsburgh, killing eleven people in a synagogue. Of course, the elite news media is blaming Trump and conservative news media, which formed the crux of today’s discussion. Oh, and Ioffe was one of the ones who seemingly tried to blame American Jews for this shooting for their push to move the U.S. Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. Did Tapper push back? Nope. No…he did not (via Free Beacon):

In the wake of the shooting at the Tree of Life synagogue in Pittsburgh, Ioffe lambasted Jewish people for supporting Trump’s decision to move the U.S. embassy in Israel to its capital, Jerusalem, and also told non-Jewish people to "shut up." On CNN’s "The Lead" with Jake Tapper, Ioffe took it even further.

"This president has radicalized so many more people than ISIS ever did," Ioffe said.

"It's unconscionable for you to say that," commentator David Urban told Ioffe.

Ioffe defended the comment by saying Trump "winks and nods" to white nationalists.

Urban was astounded Tapper did not push back on Ioffe’s claim.

"For you not to push back on that—for her to say, the president of the United States has radicalized more people than ISIS is irresponsible," Urban said.

Being a journalist, writer, blogger, columnist or whatever means you open yourself up to scrutiny and at times, harsh criticism. At long last, we have a president who is slamming the decades-long tradition of liberal bias within the elite news media. He criticizes them as being the “enemy of the people,” which triggers liberal writers to no end. It’s the truth. The endless and pervasive negative coverage of this White House because their gal couldn’t win a presidential election is beyond explicit. They will highlight scoops of ice cream, but not the booming economy, the 3.5 percent third-quarter economic growth, that U.S. worker pay is the highest in a decade, that over three million new jobs have been created, that unemployment rate is at 3.7 percent, or that consumer and small business confidence has reached their highest marks in decades. Oh, and let’s not forget that it was the Trump’s tax cuts that led to this booming growth. It also allowed three million working-class families to receive bonus checks of $1,000 or more from their employers, not exactly peanuts but was roundly mocked by the snobby, condescending liberal elites that infest our newsrooms. This was an insanely ugly example of that.

It was liberal Twitter brought to life: Trump is the worst person ever…and Ioffe personified that by saying the president was literally ISIS. So, when the media whines that they’re not the enemies of the people, ignore them. The liberal media is straight trash. Always has been, always will be—and we will always have the right to say that to their faces. CNN does suck. MSNBC does suck. Also, screw their feelings.

UPDATE: Ioffe did apologize yesterday. I forgot to add the part where she said her Trump/ISIS remarks were straight trash and "was not factual."

This is CNN.
