UPDATE: Authorities have briefed the press and offered a few updates on the situation. The shooting took place at a Rite Aide distribution center a little after 9:00 this morning. The shooter, believed to be female, used a handgun.

UPDATE: Law enforcement officials have announced that three people are dead and five others have been shot. Reports say it was a female assailant. It is no longer an active shooting situation.

A mass shooting has been reported in a business area near Spesutia Road and Perryman Road in Aberdeen, Maryland. There are multiple victims, according to local police.
