If there is one side that cannot take the high road, it’s the Left. Remember when they go low; we go high from the 2016 campaign? Well, that’s been stabbed, shot, doused in gasoline, set on fire, and ran over with a tank. Trump officials are being targeted for harassment in public and booted from restaurants by self-righteous progressives eager to get their fifteen minutes of fame. One Hill intern certainly earned her stripes in these theatrics, yelling “Mr. President, f**k you,” as Trump was walking to meet with Speaker Paul Ryan last week. The president was meeting with Republicans ahead of the planned votes on immigration, which have gone down in flames. The vote on the compromise bull is Wednesday and that is surely not going to pass.
Congressional aide or intern yells “Mr President, f*%k you!” from across the Capitol Rotunda as he walks to the Speaker’s office before mtg with House GOPers on immigration. Gets attention of USCP/Secret Service pic.twitter.com/5Uarw4FTsw

Regarding intern heckling Trump last night, Capitol security authorities/USSS concerned protecting the President at the Capitol. This ramped up last fall after a private citizen managed to get into a press scrum here & hectored Trump & hurled Russian flags at him.

Fox is told that Capitol security officials appear to have physically ID’d…but not been able to name the Congressional intern who yelled “Mr. President, f%@k you!” across the Rotunda when President Trump arrived last night to meet with House Republicans on immigration.

Fox is told security officials/USSS would consider the intern heckler as a “person of interest." Would want to know if she's ok mentally & perhaps a true threat to Trump..or if this was just a political statement, protected by First Amendment for a couple of reasons.

Congressional authorities would be walking a fine line if it came to potentially charging or sanctioning intern who heckled Trump. 1st Amdt issue. Got attention because it was at the Capitol, she was loud, profane & not politesse.

If Congressional officials successfully do ID intern heckler by name, they would want to talk to the office for whom she interns and determine if she causes problems and is a threat to Capitol security. Would be up to office for discipline unless she is deemed a true threat

Trump intern heckler was granted a hard pass for Capitol complex. Unwritten rule, but some degree of decorum is EXPECTED with that pass. Source says one question is if the intern could be using pass for access to cause mischief or present a danger to people. Is a grey area

It got the attention of the Secret Service, an investigation was initiated, and the game of True Detective had begun. So, you can take a bow Caitlin Marriott, a 21-year-old intern for Democratic Sen. Maggie Hassan of New Hampshire. Will she be fired? Nope—she’s just been suspended for a week, had her Capitol Hill pass revoked, and is restricted to solely working in Hassan’s office located in the Hart Senate Office Building.
Congressional intern who yelled “Mr President, f&*k you!” at Trump last wk across the Rotunda identified. 21 yr old Caitlin Marriott. Works for Dem NH Sen Maggie Hassan. Not terminated. Suspended for a wk. Loses CapHill pass. Restricted to working in Hassan’s office in Hart

Hey, is it maddening? Yes. Will there have been a media uproar if Obama, or any Democrat, had been president instead of Trump in this situation? You bet. But let’s not lose focus. These hysterics from liberals help Trump. It doesn’t win the Left votes; it only further entrenches support for the president from the GOP base and pushes those on the fence away from Democrats. They either end up supporting Trump or staying home. So, liberal, keep venting—you’re only helping Trump win a second term—big league.
