Corey Lewandowski was roundly criticized for his behavior during a debate on the zero tolerance policy at the U.S.-Mexico border. During his feud with Democratic strategist Zac Petkanas on Fox News, Petkanas was referencing a young girl with Down syndrome who had been separated from her family and placed in a cage in a detention facility as a result of the White House rule. In the middle of the account, Lewandowski emitted a sarcastic, "wah wah." Petkanas was outraged, shouting "how dare you!" at his sparring partner.

Other media personalities demanded that Lewandowski stop getting air time.
Lewandowski returned to Fox News Wednesday, but without an apology. Instead, he suggested, why don't we apologize to the families of Brian Terry, Jamiel Shaw and Kate Steinle, all of whom were killed in part due to sanctuary city policies and relaxed immigration laws.
"An apology? I owe an apology to the children whose parents are putting them in a position that is forcing them to be separated. We owe an apology to Jamiel Shaw and Brian Terry and Kate Steinle's family who have allowed those individuals to be killed by illegal aliens," Lewandowski said. "The American people owe an apology to those people. When you cross the border illegally, you have committed a crime and there is accountability for committing crimes and there should be."
Still, Lewandowski is starting to pay for his "wah wah" remark. Leading Authorities, Inc., one of Washington D.C.'s top speakers bureaus, has just severed ties with him.
