Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) was one of five Democrats to offer a response to President Trump's State of the Union address. She didn't actually attend, so to put it another way she offered a response to a speech she didn't even watch.
Still, she has Trump figured out. He's a "despicable human," he's a "racist," he's "not a role model," and - her latest description - he's not fit for TV.
“Whenever he appears on TV there should be a disclaimer that says ‘This may be may not be acceptable for children,'” Waters said during her pre-taped response for Angela Rye's BET special Wednesday.
At times, yes, Trump speaks with no filter in sight. He faced plenty of backlash for reportedly calling Haiti, El Salvador, and African nations "s***holes" during a closed door meeting on immigration. He infamously called kneeling NFL players "SOBs" during a campaign rally in Alabama.
Still, does Waters really think Trump is going to drop an F bomb during such an important speech? Sure, he has a tendency to go off script, but in the major moments he has not set off any alarms that demand intervention from the Federal Communications Commission.

On the contrary, Trump was roundly praised for his well paced State of the Union speech Tuesday. Three in four Americans who watched approved it. CNN anchors noted its inspiring moments and beautiful prose.
Still, Rep. Waters is not fooled.
“One speech cannot and does not make Donald Trump presidential," she said Wednesday. "He’s not presidential and he never will be presidential. He claims that’s bringing people together but make no mistake, he is a dangerous, unprincipled, divisive, and shameful racist."
