Someone Needs To Tell Sen. Warren What 'Slut-Shaming' Means....

Early on Tuesday, President Donald Trump sent out a tweet that many say had sexual implications about Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY). Trump called Gillibrand a "flunky" who would do "anything" for campaign contributions.

Then in came Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), who, while trying to stand up for her colleague...kind of backfired. Warren chastized Trump for attempting to "bully, intimidate and slut-shame" Gillibrand. For good measure, she tossed in the #ShePersisted hashtag.

So, it's not entirely clear that Warren knows what "slut-shaming" means.

For the record: to "slut-shame" someone is to mock them for their promiscuous behavior, under the belief that women have the inherent right to have as much or as little sex as they want without any sort of societal judgment for their actions. By the tweet, Warren was--either accidentally or not--basically calling Gillibrand a slut and saying that she'd sleep around for campaign contributions. Not the best look, regardless of what she meant to say with the tweet.
