Roger Stone Is Suing Twitter After His Suspension

Political operative Roger Stone is suing Twitter, after his profanity laced tirade criticizing CNN led to his suspension from the social media site, reports The Wrap.

“I have retained one of the best telecommunications lawyers in the country and will be bringing a legal action against Twitter over the suspension of my account,” he told TheWrap. “The battle for free speech has just begun.”

“I have been inundated on Twitter with bloggers threatening to kill me, my wife my kids and even my dogs yet Twitter seems unconcerned about that,” he said “This is just part and parcel of the tech lefts effort to silence conservative voices.”

Indeed, Stone’s supporters quickly pointed out the blatant double standard that Twitter seems to have in discerning judgment on whether it wants to enact its terms of service policy for offensive tweets.

Roger Stone has been an avid supporter of Donald Trump since at least the 1980s. Stone was at one point a conservative establishment GOP superstar, helping elect President Richard Nixon and President Ronald Reagan as well. Known for his questionable but often effective tactics, Stone has continuously been involved in various political efforts.

A Netflix Documentary, “Get Me Roger Stone” details the operative's career trajectory and current role as one of President Trump’s confidants. The film is a fascinating story into the man’s mind.
