Boom. A perfect response that doesn't just mocks CNN's campaign, but offers a poignant message.
In addition to promoting this stellar video, Franks has been hard at work pursuing pro-life legislation like the Pain Capable Unborn Child Protection Act, which bans abortions after 20 weeks. It has passed the House, but faces an uncertain fate in the Senate. In a recent interview with the Daily Caller, the congressman urged Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell to get to work.
“The only impediment to this bill at this point is the Senate rule that allows the Democrats to keep it off the floor because they won’t help with the 60 votes needed to bring it to the floor,” Franks explained. “It’s a bad rule. It means that the American people don’t get a debate and it’s something that has to be changed.”
Mr. Franks, keep doing what you're doing.
