Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) was on a roll again, pushing her impeachment of Donald Trump initiative that will get absolutely nowhere, but hey—she’s a California liberal; she can say whatever she wants. During a town hall event hosted by the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation, Waters went on a rampage, voicing her frustration at black voters for not being aggressive in jumping into her clown car and advocating for the impeachment of Trump. She said that Trump lies every day, he’s obstructed justice, and that he’s in collusion with the Russians. Well, for starters, no evidence exists concerning whether he obstructed justice, nor is there solid proof pointing to collusion. Trump may have stretched the truth at times, but, unlike Clinton, he was never under oath. Moreover, voters know politicians lie, and that D.C. is a snake pit. When Barack Obama said if you like your doctor (or health care plan), you can keep it—was that not a lie? It was. It was the biggest lie of the year, according to the left-leaning PolitiFact.
The Free Beacon clipped the insanity:"Impeachment is about whatever the Congress says it is. There is no law that can dictate impeachment. What the Constitution says is ‘high crimes and misdemeanors’ and we define that. Bill Clinton got impeached because he lied. Here you have a president who I can tell you and guarantee you is in collusion with the Russians to undermine our democracy. Here you have a president who has obstructed justice. And here you have a president that lies every day; thank God that the special counsel is beginning to connect the dots and understand Facebook’s role in it; social media’s role in it.
When is the black community going to say, ‘yeah, impeach him’? It's time to go after him. I don't hear you!
And this impeachment insanity wasn’t just at this town hall. At the funeral for comedian Dick Gregory, Waters also pushed impeaching Donald Trump while delivering a eulogy last weekend:
"I'm cleaning out the White House," Waters said during her eulogy. "We're going to sanitize the White House. We're not going to take what is happening in this country."
Waters then asked the congregation whether they had "taken enough," prompting many people in the crowd to say "yeah."
"And then comes along this person," Waters said, referring to Trump. "This person who does not respect you. This dishonorable human being who cheats everybody! This dishonorable human being who will lie at the drop of a hat."
She then criticized Trump's Cabinet by associating them with the so-called "alt-right" movement and the Klu Klux Klan.
"This dishonorable human being who can criticize everybody but [Vladimir] Putin and Russia," Waters said, not mentioning the Russia sanctions bill that Trump signed last month.
Moments later, Waters said that Democrats are going to "take back the house that slaves built."
Waters concluded her eulogy by calling for the impeachment of Trump and discussing how offended she is by his presence in the White House.
"I know even my colleagues get very upset," Waters said. "Some get afraid when I say ‘impeachment.' When I get through with Donald Trump, he's gonna wish he had been impeached. I feel it very deeply. I am so offended by him and I love my people so much that I am not going to put up with it."
Prior to his resignation, Waters said Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-UT) had ties to the Kremlin, which was psychobabble. In May, she tried to peddle the collusion theory on MSNBC and was shut down by then-Huffington Post journalist Sam Stein who noted there is no actual evidence of collusion, which Waters admitted. She also lumped Ben Carson in with white nationalists. Yeah, Raging Waters has been going off the rails for quite some time now.
