Trump's Friday Morning Tweetstorm: ESPN, Loser Terrorists, Travel Ban, and More

President Trump took to Twitter to comment on the terror attack on the London subway early Friday morning. Not stopping there, he also discussed the travel ban, the war on the Islamic State, and even touched on ESPN’s latest controversy.

“Another attack in London by a loser terrorist. These are sick and demented people who were in the sights of Scotland Yard. Must be proactive!” he wrote. “Loser terrorists must be dealt with in a much tougher manner. The internet is their main recruitment tool which we must cut off & use better!”

At least 18 people were injured after a bomb in a white bucket wrapped in a plastic bag exploded on the London subway. Police categorized the incident as a terror attack.

He then discussed how the travel ban should be much tougher than it is and called out the politically correct climate in the U.S. for why it’s not.

“The travel ban into the United States should be far larger, tougher and more specific-but stupidly, that would not be politically correct!” he said.

Regarding the Islamic State, Trump said the U.S. has made significant strides against the terror group.

“We have made more progress in the last nine months against ISIS than the Obama Administration has made in 8 years,” he wrote. “Must be proactive & nasty!”

Finally, he commented on ESPN deciding not to fire host Jemele Hill for calling him a white supremacist.

“ESPN is paying a really big price for its politics (and bad programming). People are dumping it in RECORD numbers,” he said. “Apologize for untruth!”
