Speaking on MSNBC on Thursday, Rep. Maxine Waters claimed, without evidence, that the various "sex allegations" detailed in a leaked dossier published in January by BuzzFeed were "absolutely true." Waters said that other parts of the dossier may be false, but that "they have said" that the most salacious parts are indeed fact.

Waters also said that impeachment proceedings against President Trump are "poised" and ready to go.
No part of the blackmail dossier has been confirmed as being fact. Trump himself has called the dossier "fake news" and has denied its allegations.
