Big League: Intel Invests $7 Billion in Arizona, Bringing 3,000 Jobs

President Donald Trump and Intel chief executive Brain Krzanich announced a deal Wednesday that will invest $7 billion in an Arizona factory employing 3,000 people.

The deal will also include plans to complete a previous plant in the area that was started and then left vacant.

"America has a unique combination of talent, a vibrant business environment and access to global markets, which has enabled U.S. companies like Intel to foster economic growth and innovation," Krzanich said.  "Our factories support jobs — high-wage, high-tech manufacturing jobs that are the economic engines of the states where they are located."
