Reality star and Olympic gold medalist Caitlyn Jenner will reportedly attend President-elect Donald Trump's inauguration next week. According to Us Weekly Jenner has accepted an invitation and will be in attendance.
Jenner, who came out as both transgender and as a conservative Republican in an April 2015 interview, did not directly get involved with anyone's campaign this past election cycle, but expressed a desire to be a "trans ambassador" for Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX). This past April, she took Donald Trump up on his suggestion and used the ladies' room at Trump Tower without incident. Jenner has also spoken out favorably about Trump.
Despite the fact that Jenner is an adult and can do whatever she'd like, many people were not thrilled with the idea that she may be attending the inauguration.
Sad for Caitlyn Jenner. The GOP is trotting her out as their token T person and they will happily deny her rights Jan 21.

@Caitlyn_Jenner You are a publicity whore. You are no more transgender than Shamu the killer whale. You are fake everything.

I hope every trans woman in the world is having a good day except for Caitlyn Jenner i'll fucking fight her

Perhaps it's not so surprising that Jenner has repeatedly claimed that it was harder to come out as a Republican than to come out as trans.
