Four People in Custody After Live Streaming The Torture of a Purported Trump Supporter

Four people in Chicago are in police custody after a disturbing Facebook Live stream depicting the torture of a tied-up man was reported to authorities.

The video, which was posted on Facebook on Tuesday using the social network's "Live" feature, was taken by a woman who appeared to be in her teens or early 20s and featured a group beating a man who was bound and gagged. At one point in the video, the victim is slapped repeatedly and is seen bleeding from his scalp.

Throughout the video, people can be heard saying "F*** Donald Trump" and "F*** white people," among other things. At one point, the woman taking the video laughs at how her sister had commented telling her to stop beating the man.

FOX 32 Chicago shared a short clip of the stream to their Facebook page. The full video, which will not be shared here, was posted on Reddit and YouTube.

An additional Facebook Live video, taken by another female in the room, was also shared on Tuesday. This video showed the man before he was tied up being threatened with a knife and ordered to say "f*** Donald Trump."

Charges have not yet been filed.

This is not the first time a video out of Chicago showing the assault of a supposed Trump supporter has gone viral. Shortly after election day, a video of man being brutally assaulted and his car was stolen was shared thousands of times. Four people were arrested and charged with felony carjacking.
