Intel Officials Push Back at Trump, Insist The Russian Hack Meeting Was Not 'Delayed'

President-elect Donald Trump and intel officials are at odds when it comes to the original date for their meeting on the supposed Russian hacking of the 2016 election. Trump, who remains skeptical that Russia had anything to do with the cyber attack, accused the intel officials of delaying their meeting because they still don't have enough evidence to convict the Russians.

The intel community pushed back at that claim, telling NBC News that their discussion was "always" on the schedule for Friday.

Trump has repeatedly expressed his doubts that Russia was involved in the DNC leaks, or that the hacks directly affected the outcome of the election. President Obama has reached the opposite conclusion, saying matter-of-factly that Russia was the author of the DNC leaks. He ordered a full review of the hacks.
