POTUS states as fact that Russia hacked the DNC, an assertion with broad consensus among intel community which PEOTUS continues to question

The president did not, however, claim that Russia hacked the election. He merely states that the source of the various WikiLeaks emails came from a Russian hack. He did not say that Russia actually changed the results of the election.
Obama made an important distinction saying Russia hacked the DNC, not the election. Nobody arguing that leaked information was made up.

He also said that he told Russian President Vladimir Putin to "cut it out" back in September.
