President-elect Donald Trump announced on Monday that Japan's SoftBank has agreed to invest $50 billion in the United States and create 50,000 more jobs for Americans. He announced the deal after meeting with SoftBank CEO Masayoshi Son, a Japanese billionaire and technology investor.
