Surprise: Hillary Lied About The Letter FBI Director James Comey Sent Friday

Early Friday evening Democrat Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton held an unplanned press conference in Iowa to address FBI Director James Comey's announcement the criminal investigation surrounding her email practices has been reopened.

Comey sent a letter to relevant Committee chairman and ranking members Friday stating that additional documents had been found (news reports later confirmed the new information about Clinton's server came through the FBI's investigation of Anthony Weiner, top aide Huma Abedin's ex-husband, for sexual misconduct with a minor) and the case had been reopened.

When answering questions from reporters Clinton claimed Comey only sent the letter to Republican lawmakers, when in fact he sent it to Republican and Democrat lawmakers. Clinton said she had seen the letter, which clearly shows it was sent to lawmakers in both parties on Capitol Hill.

In fact Democrat Senator Feinstein, who was one of the recipients of the letter, responded to Comey's decision forcefully.

Clinton clearly made the false statement in an effort to paint Comey's decision to reopen the investigation as purely political, rather than based on new findings of additional email evidence. According to a number of reports, the new evidence found and referred to by Comey in the letter consists of thousands of pages on multiple devices.
