After terrible flooding in Louisiana over the past week has left tens of thousands without functioning homes, Republican nominee Donald Trump is heading to the area to help with clean-up and recovery.
“When one state hurts, we all hurt – and we must all work together to lift each other up,” Trump said during a speech Thursday night.
Meanwhile, Barack Obama remains uninterrupted during his two-week vacation at Martha's Vineyard and was seen playing golf with left-wing comedian Larry David.
Hillary Clinton remains missing in action as well. She has a planned rest period until Sunday, but did manage to send out a two-sentence tweet on the matter.

Trump has hit Clinton hard on her scarce speech schedule by saying that she really only speaks every three days before returning home for rest.

On Wednesday, a Baton Rouge paper called out Obama for refusing to visit the area during time of the disaster.
“The optics of Obama golfing while Louisiana residents languished in flood waters was striking. It evoked the precedent of the passive federal response to the state’s agony in 2005, a chapter of history no one should ever repeat,” the paper said.
