RIP #NeverTrump

In typical establishment Republican fashion, an effort was made to achieve something, and then it failed miserably.

The #NeverTrump movement has come to an end. On Thursday night, the RNC rules committee voted down an effort to unbind the delegates allowing them to vote against Donald Trump, ending a last-ditch effort to deny him the Republican presidential nomination.

"As far as I'm concerned, the Never Trump movement is nevermore," campaign chairman Paul Manafort said Friday on Fox News.

"It was a bunch of rogue, malcontent delegates, and they understood very clearly that denying Donald Trump the nomination through some back room deal would have destroyed the Republican Party and not just the presidential election but probably the Congress as well."

Now the Republican Party can unite and turn its attention to more important issues, like making America great again, returning jobs to U.S. soil, defeating radical Islam, and propelling mankind into the future.
