The three remaining Republican candidates were supposed to debate on Monday, March 21, in Salt Lake City. Donald Trump said he'd had enough of the debates, and called in to Fox & Friends on Wednesday morning to say that he was going to sit this one out. Now, the debate has been canceled altogether.
The GOP presidential primary debate scheduled for Monday has been canceled, a representative for the Salt Palace Convention Center confirmed Wednesday.
The debate was canceled following Donald Trump’s announcement that he wouldn’t be attending and a subsequent announcement from the campaign strategist for Gov. John Kasich that he wouldn’t attend without Trump.
Gov. John Kasich, who won his home state of Ohio in last night's elections, also indicated that he wouldn't debate unless Trump was present.

The Republican candidates have debated 12 times since August of 2015, and have already traded jabs twice during the month of March.
