Senate Majority Leader Announces a Guaranteed Vote Against Abortions After 20 Weeks

The crowd at the Faith and Freedom Coalition broke out into a roaring applause as Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell announced a guaranteed vote on a bill that imposes a nationwide federal ban on abortions after 20 weeks of gestation -- "a bill that in the past the senate couldn't even get a hearing," acclaims McConnell.

McConnell brings to surface the reality that Obama has been ever so isolated by the growing issue of abortion stating that "he will be forced to listen to the cause that's brought us all her this morning. Senate Democrats would be forced to take a stand."

This is great news as multiple states have already passed the bill that bans abortions. With McConnell's guarantee, now the whole nation can undergo this ban, something Carly Fiora claims that, "the majority of women, the majority of young people, the majority of Americans now think that late-term abortion for any reason at all is a problem."

SBA List President Marjorie Dannenfelser in a statement Tuesday states:

“We are encouraged with the new pro-life Senate and look forward to a vote on our top legislative priority, the Pain Capable Unborn Child Protection Act. This compassionate, popular legislation will protect the lives of more than 18,000 unborn children per year.” SBA List President Marjorie Dannenfelser in a statement Tuesday. “We are encouraged with the new pro-life Senate and look forward to a vote on our top legislative priority, the Pain Capable Unborn Child Protection Act. We can never take away the lives that have been lost due to abortion, but McConnell sure is taking the right measures to prevent it in the future. Win!
