For years pro-gun control activists have argued the government must issue more regulations to gun shows because a "loophole" in the system that doesn't require a background check. That argument is bogus and the Media Research Center's Dan Joseph recently attended one of country's largest gun shows to prove it.
"The state police are on site here but we also do a criminal and a mental background check...if you don't pass it no gun and more than likely you'll be arrested."
"I have found the dealers that sell the firearms to be ultra professional and very concerned, even more so concerned sometimes than what they lawfully need to be."
"We already do that [background checks]. We already do every single thing they ask us to do."
