NHS Horror: Aborted Babies Incinerated As "Clinical Waste" in UK—Some Used To Heat Hospitals

In what seems like a scene from a bad horror movie, a new report from the United Kingdom shows that over 15,000 aborted or miscarried babies were incinerated alongside garbage, and two hospitals even used fetal remains in the incinerator used to heat the hospital.

The National Health Service, the single-payer healthcare provider in the United Kingdom, immediately put a ban to the practice of burning fetuses to heat a hospital.

One of the country’s leading hospitals, Addenbrooke’s in Cambridge, incinerated 797 babies below 13 weeks gestation at their own ‘waste to energy’ plant. The mothers were told the remains had been ‘cremated.’

Another ‘waste to energy’ facility at Ipswich Hospital, operated by a private contractor, incinerated 1,101 foetal remains between 2011 and 2013.

They were brought in from another hospital before being burned, generating energy for the hospital site. Ipswich Hospital itself disposes of remains by cremation.

Parents of miscarried babies were not given options as to what would happen to the remains of their child.

This is a disgusting and abhorrent practice. Burning the remains of humans for heat is the ultimate sign of a sick culture. Fetal remains deserve more respect than that.
