Another Day, More ObamaCare Disasters

With the roll out of ObamaCare, America is getting an up-close-and-personal look at the manifold flaws of Big Government, Obama-style.

The only full-time ObamaCare navigator in Lawrence, Kansas (home state of HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius!) has a warrant out for her arrest. Keep in mind that "navigators" have access to Americans' personal data -- and then ponder the implications when you learn that this particular navigator has been bankrupt, has written a bad check, and is in arrears on her taxes. Perhaps her legal troubles would have been revealed had there been any requirement for ObamaCare navigators to be fingerprinted or have background checks conducted . . . but there isn't.

Of course, there's only so much that any navigator -- in legal trouble or not -- can do to "navigate" a comptuer system that inhibits Americans from enrolling. And today in the Washington Examiner, we learn that HHS considered only one firm, CGI, for construction of the ObamaCare web site . . . despite its "uneven" record of IT performance and pricing. Big Government at work.

Then again, the problems with the site may be part of an effort to conceal from Americans how costly the ObamaCare plans are. Avik Roy points out that browsing without inputting personal information -- which allows subsidies to be factored in -- would likely lead to even worse sticker shock, as people realize just how devastating ObamaCare has been.

One parting thought to keep in mind: Democrats and the MSM (same thing!) are gloating over the current shut-down politics. But long before next year's elections, the shut-down will be resolved (one way or the other) and ObamaCare will still be in place, destroying the best health care system in the world, and outraging American voters.

On, and passed only with Democrat votes.
