So How's that Russian "Reset" Working Out?

Remember that famous picture of Hillary Clinton -- all giggles -- presenting Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov with the red "reset" button to herald the new age of comradeship and harmony now to exist between the US and Russia (you know, the meeting where she mistakenly used the Russian word for "overcharge", an error our new "friend" Lavrov promptly corrected)?

Well, from where we sit today, Hillary's "reset" isn't working out so well.  Putin offered Edward Snowden asylum against the expressed wishes of the United States without so much as the courtesy of a "heads up" to the Obama administration, which has offered its customary muscular response (it's "extremely disappointed" -- so watch out!).

This entire episode is emblematic of so much of Hillary Clinton's career -- big gestures, plenty of fanfare, lots of over-the-top adulation (she's the best secretary of state ever, according to President Obama!) -- but when the hype meets reality, there's significantly less there than meets the eye.
