Some white guy named Robert Francis from Texas is running for president. He’s supposedly some Obama-type character except that Obama won the elections he was supposed to win when he became a national figure. Bob was a Texas congressman who almost beat Ted Cruz in the 2018 election. Yeah, just like how the Los Angeles Rams almost beat the New England Patriots. The guy’s a loser. He said that he wasn’t going to run for president in 2020 no matter what the outcome of the Senate election. That’s apparently not true. So, Bob thinks he can win for some reason, despite have zero accomplishments other than almost winning a statewide race. But we don’t need conservatives to point that out. On the Left, there are some writers who are already making mincemeat of the Bob O’Rourke 2020 candidacy, which is not sitting well with fellow liberals.
Enter former Young Turks reporter Michael Tracey who aptly noted how does almost beating Ted Cruz qualifies one for a White House bid. Tracey is also a noted Russian collusion skeptic. He does fall in line with other views on the progressive spectrum but is not afraid to say that the Kremlin collusion business is overblown and that this Bob 2020 run is a mile wide and an inch deep.

So, while the liberal media establishment hopes to prop up Bob with hot air in a political rendition of something out of Weekend at Bernie's, at least there are some on the Left who are indeed playing with a full deck. Even some liberals know Beto is a joke.
