NBC's Chuck Todd: Hillary's Electability In Question, Donors Reportedly Panicking

The S.S. Clinton is still hitting icebergs with the latest CNN/ORC poll, where the former first lady is either trailing or in a dead heat with three 2016 Republican candidates in hypothetical match-ups. Ben Carson leads Clinton 51/46, Jeb Bush lead Clinton 49/47, and the Donald is tied with the former Secretary of State 48/48.

On MSNBC’s Morning Joe, Chuck Todd, NBC News’ Political Director and host of Meet The Press, said how the Clinton team a moth ago used to dismiss bad polling by saying that Hillary is still leading in these hypothetical match-ups with most in the GOP field; that’s no longer the case. Todd added that more liberal voters feeling the Bern can explain her bad primary polls, but the head-to-head match-up flops with registered voters brings into question her electability.

“That’s when donors start panicking, and I think they already are panicking,” he said.
