President Donald Trump recently conducted an interview with CBS News, and the White House is pushing for the interview to be aired in its entirety rather than the network include deceptive edits.
Of course, the usual suspects on the Left are using this to claim that the White House is bullying poor journalists into submission. Take a look at some of their posts on X crying about the situation:

Somehow, it’s “authoritarian” and “fake news” to demand that the American people have the ability to actually hear what their president says in his own words rather than have some producer pick and choose whatever advances his or her agenda.
Even though they’re under new leadership, don’t forget that CBS was the same outlet that drastically edited their interview with Kamala Harris to make her seem somewhat coherent ahead of the 2024 election. The ordeal was so bad for the outlet that they settled a lawsuit for $16 million to be paid to Trump’s future presidential library.
All of it resulted in the FCC publishing the disastrous interview unilaterally in February of 2025 after CBS continuously refused to publish the transcript.
This is just another seemingly daily reminder that these are a deeply unserious people.
