Hillary Attempts to Distance Herself from Obama...AGAIN!

The former Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, is trying to distance herself from her former boss, Barack Obama, perhaps to keep open a 2016 presidential run. With the most recent developments in Russia, it appears Mrs. Clinton would not have made the same choices as President Obama has.

Well so much for loyalty. Apparently Mrs. Clinton does not like how lightly the president has been treading with the Russian debacle; she would have been tougher. Last week Hillary commented on how the moves of Russian President Vladimir Putin were similar to that of Hitler during World War II. Of course many people became upset by these comments, so she stepped back a bit by saying “I’m not making a comparison, certainly, but I am recommending that we perhaps can learn from this tactic that has been used before.”

One author over at the National Journal believes that these comments are an indication of two things. One is that this could show that she is really considering a presidential run in 2016 and that Obama’s weakness could hurt whoever decides to run in 2016.

But what’s amusing about that, is that the Obama administration’s policies following the Arab Spring. And Hillary was still Secretary of State at that point, and this ended up becoming deadly when there was an attack on the consulate in Benghazi.

How is it that Hillary does not understand the hypocrisy in her statements on foreign affairs? She was too soft on policies in Arab states following their uprisings, but yet she really wants to be tough on Russia. The relationship with Russia is a very delicate one to keep an eye on.

Mrs. Clinton is obviously looking out for her interests in the next few years, whether it is her own political aspirations or those of her political allies. So much for being close with the Obama’s and her loyalty to the administration.
