Here's How Biden Responded When Asked If He Would Consider a Republican Running Mate

Former Vice President Joe Biden on Monday told voters in New Hampshire he would be open to choosing a Republican running mate, although he said he couldn't think of any particular person at the moment.

The statement was made after a woman in the audience mentioned Biden "pulling out all the stops," CNN reported.

"Our 21-year-old son said the other night, 'I wonder if Joe Biden would consider choosing a Republican as a running mate," the woman said.

"The answer is I would, but I can't think of one now," Biden replied. "Let me explain that. You know there's some really decent Republicans that are out there still, but here's the problem right now ... they've got to step up."

CBS News' Bo Erickson shared the quote on Twitter and people were instantly disgusted.

Progressives see this as another disqualifying factor.

At least us conservatives see this for what this is.

The election is a little more than 11 months away and Biden's campaign continues to get more interesting as the days go on. What will he think of next?
