Whoa: A Republican Is Calling For Trump's Impeachment. Here's Why.

Rep. Justin Amash (R-MI) on Saturday took to Twitter to explain why he believes impeachment proceedings against President Donald Trump should occur. According to Amash, Attorney General William Barr "deliberately misrepresented [Special Counsel Robert] Mueller's report" into the alleged collusion between Russia and the Trump campaign.

The Congressman said he came to the conclusions after reading the entire redacted Mueller report and discussing the case with his staff. 

He said that although "high crimes and misdemeanors" are not defined in the reasons for impeachment in the Constitution, "the context implies conduct that violates the public trust."
