If the Left thinks attacking our children is a winning political move, they are sorely mistaken.
Last week, VA Democrat Jay Jones likely torpedoed his campaign for AG after texts he sent resurfaced. Those weren't just any texts; Jones explicitly said he wanted to shoot VA Republican Todd Gilbert and that he hoped Gilbert's young children would die.
Why? So that Gilbert would let Jones pass his preferred legislation.
The Left also believes they own our children. Ask any teachers' union head, and they'll argue with a straight face that all our kids belong to them. Why? Because the Left can't tolerate the thought that parents might raise kids in non-woke ways.
Which is why when Leftists post things like this on social media, we should pay attention.

Today's Reddit post is tomorrow's Democratic Party platform.
We see this mentality already rearing its ugly head in states like Minnesota and California, where parents can lose custody of their children if they fail to adequately "affirm" their child's gender. The Left claims this is child abuse. It's the exact opposite, of course, because it's protecting children from the abuses of "gender-affirming care."
It's not too far an intuitive leap to surmise the Left will apply that same standard to other facets of life in an effort to take kids away from parents and "reeducate" them in Leftist ideology.
That is also some massive projection. It is the Left that abuses children, whether through "gender affirming care," or public schools that do not teach kids how to read or write, or by letting "trans identifying" boys play girls sports -- often harming girls in the process.
The entire worldview of the Democratic Party is disconnected from reality. And rather than return to sanity, the Democrats have decided to force us to accept their warped version of and vision for the world around us.

They absolutely will. They've made it very clear they plan to pack the courts, abolish the electoral college, and grant amnesty to millions of illegal immigrants -- thus cementing themselves in power in perpetuity.
If a Republican posted such a screed online and fantasized about reeducating the children of Democrats, it would dominate the news cycle for days and every Republican from President Trump on down to the local dog catcher would be asked to condemn it.
It would be pointed to as "proof" that the Republicans are fascists and Nazis who will use the state to harm families and children.
But much like most Democrats shrugged at the shocking comments Jay Jones made, they'll ignore this, too. Right up until they mainstream it into their party's platform.
