The World Health Organization (WHO) has come under fire for parroting the Chinese Communist Party's talking points about the Wuhan coronavirus. Back in January, the WHO shared a tweet saying the virus was not transmitted from human-to-human. That information, we know, is false and the virus is extremely contagious.

What's even worse though, is Taiwan tried blowing the whistle on the Wuhan coronavirus in December when they alerted the WHO. On Monday, Taiwan's Ministry of Health and Welfare released the email showing the country made an effort to prevent the virus from spreading around the world.

"News resources today indicate that at least seven atypical pneumonia cases were reported in Wuhan, CHINA. Their health authorities replied to the media that the cases were believed not SARS; however the samples are still under examination, and cases have been isolated for treatment," the email read. "I would greatly appreciate it if you have relevant information to share with us."

"Thank you very much in advance for your attention to this matter," the email concluded.

Even though Taiwan tried to prevent the spread of the virus to other countries by warning the WHO, the country is being punished because they question China and their tactics. In fact, Taiwan hasn't had a place at the international table since 2016, particularly at the World Health Assembly, because of Chinese pressure. The regime refuses to acknowledge Taiwan as a sovereign nation, even though they have been independent of China for more than 70 years. The Chinese Communist Party is determined to regain control of Taiwan, which is why the regime actively works to discredit the small island.

What's amazing though: Taiwan isn't that far from China – only about 80 miles away – yet the country has sustained very few cases.
