It appears Sen. Chuck Schumer is falling off the deep end - or rather he’s being pushed by President Trump.
The senator from New York allegedly went off on an affluent Trump supporter Sunday night at a restaurant on the Upper East side, according to Page Six.
Joseph A. Califano Jr. (a well-known Democrat and former administration secretary under President Lyndon B. Johnson) and his wife, Hilary, were having dinner when they were interrupted by Schumer.
According to witnesses, the senator began berating Hilary, because she voted for Trump.
“They are a highly respected couple, and Schumer made a scene, yelling, ‘She voted for Trump!’” one witness recounted. “The Califanos left the restaurant, but Schumer followed them outside. ‘How could you vote for Trump? He’s a liar!’ He kept repeating, ‘He’s a liar!’”

Another witness, however, says the Califanos approached Schumer, and that the New York senator was simply joking with Hilary about her voting choices.
Similarly, a spokesperson for Schumer said there was “no heated exchanges with anyone” that night.
But Hilary, herself, reportedly confirmed the not-so-pleasant encounter to Page Six.
“Sen. Schumer was really rude…He’s our senator, and I don’t really like him,” she admitted. “Yes, I voted for Trump. Schumer joined us outside, and he told me Trump was a liar. I should have told him that Hillary Clinton was a liar, but I was so surprised I didn’t say anything.”
