Ambassador Kurt Volker, former U.S. envoy to Ukraine, gives his opening statement. He was the first person to testify in the impeachment inquiry.

Nunes calls the Dems' witnesses "a parade of government officials who don't like Trump's Ukraine policy."

It seems we are a bit delayed!

After seeing all the "evidence" the Dems have against Trump, Sen. John Kennedy says he "would be astounded if the Senate voted to convict." 

Trump on the witnesses: "I don't know any of these people."

"The Republicans are killing it," President Trump says of the hearings. 

He adds that the Democrats "are using this impeachment hoax for their own political game."

The next hearing, scheduled for 2:30 p.m. ET, will include testimony from former U.S. special envoy for Ukraine Kurt Volker and Tim Morrison, former senior White House national security official.

Schiff really worried about Russia re Ukraine - seriously? remember when we were told that fearing Russia was so 1980 in 2012? i do - and then Hillary lost the 2016 election and everyone on the Left got a case of Russophobia 

There's nothing more nauseating than Democrats acting like they love America and that they're for the rule of law ... this whole impeachment circus exposes that
