Michele Bachmann hasn't filed her fundraising and spending numbers for the second quarter with the FEC yet, but her upcoming ad buy in Iowa suggests she's doling out resources carefully.

According to a source familiar with her latest ad purchases, Bachmann has bought new time starting July 20 and running through Aug. 2.

In Des Moines, there's a $3,600 buy on broadcast during that time, $10,500 on cable and $8,570 for radio, the source said. In Cedar Rapids, another market that can be a driver toward Ames, there's no broadcast but there's $7,000 on cable TV and roughly $5,000 on radio, per the source.
