President Obama's fundraisers in political spotlight

(CNN) - The Republican National Committee is criticizing President Barack Obama, hours before he headlines three fundraisers in New York City.

The president is the main attraction at three fundraisers Thursday evening. The first is a $35,800 a plate dinner at Daniel, Chef Daniel Boulud's Upper East Side restaurant.
