Trump: Ryan Plan Will Hurt GOP in 2012

Real estate mogul Donald Trump reiterated Wednesday that he might reconsider a presidential run as an independent if the GOP does not field a suitable candidate that can take the presidency from President Barack Obama. Trump also told Fox News’ Greta Van Susteren that the House budget plan is going to cause Republican congressmen to lose their jobs.

“I think that if the Republican nominee is a good one — and there’s a real question as to whether or not that's going to happen . . . but if the Republican nominee is a good one . . . I think that nominee will beat Obama unless something happens very rapidly —and I don't see that happening because, again, our jobs are leaving the country,” Trump said.
