On a day when U.S. Sen. Patty Murray hosted President Obama in Seattle, Republican Senate candidate Dino Rossi toured a Kent aerospace company and later rebuked Murray for requesting millions in earmarks during her time in the Senate.

Rossi, who is in a tight race with the Democratic incumbent, met Thursday with the owners of Kent-based Protective Coatings, which paints airplane parts for the military and Boeing, among other companies, at its 75,000-square-foot facility.
