We Should Be at War Against Mexico and Venezuela

In 2019, I found myself embroiled in a national news controversy when I mentioned that our nation was in the middle of a full-blown invasion. A number of activist groups became outraged.

The New York Times published a vicious hit piece on me, alleging that my use of the term “illegal alien invasion” was targeting illegals in America. They even published an unflattering photograph of me to go along with their hit-piece.

But fast-forward to 2023 and now the phrase that I originally coined has become commonplace in mainstream media. Imagine that.

There is now general consensus within our nation that America has in fact been invaded.

Case in point – video surfaced this week that showed illegal aliens breaching our border and planting a Venezuelan flag on an island in the middle of the Rio Grande.

That island is on American soil – Texas soil. And it had been conquered – albeit briefly – by foreign invaders.

A tactical Marine unit from the Texas Department of Public Safety rushed to the scene, repelled the invaders, and took down the flag.

There was a time in American history when such would've been considered an act of war.

Honestly, the Venezuelans should've been taken into custody as enemy combatants and treated like war criminals – prisoners of war.

President Biden has a constitutional responsibility to protect this great nation. He swore on a Bible to protect America from enemies both foreign and domestic.

BORDER CRISIS

The Guarantee Clause of the Constitution declares, "The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against Invasion; and on Application of the Legislature, or of the Executive (when the Legislature cannot be convened) against domestic Violence.”

Rolando Salinas, the mayor of Eagle Pass, says matter-of-factly that the federal government has failed his small city.

"I believe 100 percent [Biden] does, he bears some responsibility for this crisis. I haven't heard from anybody in the administration. The president hasn't put out a statement, the vice president, I haven't heard from anybody," the mayor told Fox News. "We're here abandoned. We're on the border, we're asking for help. This is unacceptable," he stated. The White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

It's the same story across the length of our southern border where our fellow countrymen are literally fighting for their lives.

"The city of El Paso only has so many resources and we have come to ... a breaking point right now," Mayor Oscar Leeser said at a recent news conference."I think it's really important to note that we have a broken immigration system. It's the same thing over and over again."

President Biden has failed to defend our borders and in doing so he has failed to honor his oath. He should be removed from office immediately.

And if the federal government fails to repel the invaders, our governors must rise up and stand in the gap.

Our nation’s borders have been breached. Our cities and towns overrun. American sovereignty has been violated.

Not only have we been invaded, but the United States of America has been occupied. And unless the federal government invokes the Guarantee Clause, a foreign flag may one day be flying over the U.S. Capitol.

I stand by that declaration today as much as I did in 2019 – even though it cost me dearly.
