Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) announced Monday that veteran GOP strategist Ed Rollins is stepping down as manager of her presidential campaign for health reasons.

The move is part of “a planned restructuring strategy” as Bachmann pivots from her Ames straw poll victory in last month to winning the Iowa caucuses and other early state nominating events, she said. But the Congresswoman is known on Capitol Hill for a high rate of staff turnover.
