DNC PR Firm – CNN
So now the problem is Trump is not doing the thing that was a problem for weeks because he was doing it?!
Hakeem Jeffries was on with Wolf Blitzer to do some party pimping for the Democrats. To see how the network chooses sides, recall that any time a Republican is on the air they are challenged, but a Democrat will be teed up with a leading question as the host then sits back to allow them to filibuster.
Blitzer sat silent as Hakeem Jeffries tried to claim Donald Trump was not doing anything (as the press has complained about him overwhelming them with news) and amazingly Jeffries tried to say it was the Democrats taking action at the border. Yes…he actually says this.
A reminder: Trump has been demonized from basically Day 1 for his aggressive border and deportation policies. But now that border crossings have slowed to a trickle, the Democrats – who flung open the doors for four years – are now trying to posture as if they are the border hawks. Unreal.

Pre-Written Field Reports – ABC NEWS
“Let me quote those who don’t like you so I am cleared of bias.”
One would think soon on the Sunday shows the hosts will either start doing their homework or simply stop having Republicans on their shows. This time it was George Stephanopoulos attempting to trap Secretary of State Marco Rubio on the Ukraine-Russia conflict. George quoted RINO Senator Lisa Murkowski in order to be critical of the dust-up in the Oval Office with Voldoymyr Zelenskyy as well as the claim that the Trump administration is looking to appease Vladimir Putin.
Rubio correctly points out the goal is to achieve peace and a ceasefire, but that cannot be achieved without sitting down and talking with Putin. What the press is constantly trying to do is claim that any talks with Putin are the equivalent of bowing to his wishes. So they would prefer there to be no talks, and therefore, no end to the fighting.
Hardest Hitting News – ASSOCIATED PRESS
Do we really think this is a national issue that cannot be solved locally?
While the press chooses to ignore the waste found by DOGE and the savings for US taxpayers taking place, they seem to be very diligent about finding hard luck and sad stories connected to the cutting of government spending. In the latest, The Associated Press has found another dire result.
Apparently, these monstrous Trump program cuts are leading to the loss of trees. Those that were either killed or burned down are not being replaced, and communities in dire need are now not seeing new plantings taking place. In dire need of trees.
This is blamed on (wait for it), the cuts in DEI programs. Apparently, this means the Arbor Day Foundation has lost grant money, and this means inner city communities are not getting their needed trees. If you are wondering why DEI is preventing trees from being planted or why local communities are not behind the action in their own cities, the AP is not here to answer those questions.
News Avoidance Syndrome – WASHINGTON POST
Welllll…when you do not look, you will not see any evidence.
Yes, we know; it is the Washington Post, and it involves Philip Bump. But even so, the man who never saw proof of Joe Biden's financial scams, never saw proof of Russian collusion disproven, and never saw proof the Hunter Biden laptop was real, is at it again.
This time, he is saying that Elon Musk and his DOGE team haven't uncovered any instances of fraudulent or wasteful spending. None. That is what Bump is claiming. Just magnificent effort on his part.
Both Kinds of Standards – NATIONAL PUBLIC RADIO / VOICE OF AMERICA
So the slanted coverage is not what was political, just the effort to stop the partisanship?
As expected, the installation of Kari Lake at the US Agency for Global Media is causing concerns in certain media circles. Already there are ripples of distemper seen at VOA, the international news outlet that has long been akin to National Public Radio in terms of its approach to the news.
At NPR, its media maven David Folkenflik reports on a disturbance in that outlet. One VOA journalist, Steve Herman, is on administrative leave as a formal review is being conducted looking into his possible instances of displayed bias against the Trump administration. This review is regarded by Folkenflik as being political in nature – a journalist possibly operating with a distinct level of bias is, of course, not in any way political.
