Low-Octane Gaslighting – THE NEW YORK TIMES
The abortion laws are so obviously horrible they continually need to lie about them to make a point.
Nick Kristof arrives with a supplicant post that pushes the Democratic issue (that is, the Kamala campaign's #1 issue), the abortion laws in this country. As we have seen with a number of these stories already, Kristof sees the need to lie about the particulars in order to deliver his nightmare talking point.
He references a Washington Post piece that supposedly shows the horrors of the Dobbs decision, where a woman was separated from her kids because she had been arrested for manslaughter due to a miscarriage. We are told this was due to the restrictive laws in her state.
A struggling Nevada mom suffers a miscarriage. Then the police show up and arrest her for manslaughter, and she's sentenced to 2.5-8 years in prison. Only when a pro bono lawyer steps up and appeals does a judge reverse the conviction and set her free to return to her children.…

To say it flatly: Kristof is lying entirely about this.

The woman was arrested on numerous charges, including delivering a live child and burying it. She admits to wanting to force the miscarriage by taking meth, among other deeply troubling details. On top of all this, these actions stem from 2018, which predates the Dobbs decision.
The level of lying put forth by this journalist is rather disturbing, considering the subject matter.

“He cannot be elected – we’ll be endangered!”
Just try not to throw your phone or laptop while watching these pampered prigs on the Jen Psaki panel all insisting that they are tabbed to be sent to the camps if Donald Trump is elected. The desperation to make things all about them is almost too much to tolerate.
We don’t want any of them to go to prison, we just want them to go away…

This sounds like the needed reckoning in the press may be closer than we think!
In a lengthy, overwrought piece on the newspapers failing to endorse a candidate, we also get some comments from anonymous TV executives, and one in particular stands out. We are essentially told that they have intentionally been trying to bring down Trump, and there is utter dismay that half the country is roundly ignoring them.
Best of all, they suggest that a Trump victory could bring an end to the current model of failing journalism:
If half the country has decided that Trump is qualified to be president, that means they’re not reading any of this media, and we’ve lost this audience completely. A Trump victory means mainstream media is dead in its current form. And the question is what does it look like after.

That damned Trump, derailing your attempts to damage his campaign! THE TEMERITY OF THAT GUY!
Reporting from Wisconsin, Kristen Holmes was at the Trump rally held there following his stint behind the wheel of a garbage truck. (Fake news! He only rode shotgun!) She is detailing how he was taking over the “garbage” narrative, but in sounding very bothered in her report, she lets slip how the press has been trying to hammer him with dark accusations since Sunday’s Madison Square Garden rally. She describes the vile and racist comments they have worked to slander him with, in what appears to be an accidental admission.

Presentation Paradox – CBS NEWS
“We’ll provide around-the-clock coverage showing how little attention was paid to Trump in a garbage truck.”
To say that Trump in the cab of a refuse hauler has the media losing their minds is self-evident. What is amusing is how the media attempts to deny what they are engaged in. Here was CBS News attempting to sell the concept that Trump did not quite succeed in his goal of driving the news cycle.

Grasp that? He merely “tried” to latch onto this promotional stunt. Small matter, we suppose that the images of this excursion were flooding across the media spectrum on Wednesday, completely blocking out much of the coverage of the Kamala Harris rally taking place as well.
Oh, would you look at that, there is another one of the reports on his garbage run being reported by Norah O’Donnell – of CBS News.
CBS's Norah O'Donnell opens the 'CBS Evening News' mad about Trump's garbage truck "stunt" and that people are "giving" Biden any "no grace" for calling Trump supporters "garbage" last night:
