Artisanally-Crafted Narratives – MSNBC

  • As a man I feel responsible…

As a sign of how poorly things are going for Kamala Harris (and the press), we now see that they are employing the failed “Disney Promotions Cycle.” This is the practice seen from that studio where it belches out a woke product, lectures about the negative feedback, tells the audience they are not welcomed if they are critical, and then blames those for not supporting the failed production.

Harris has been sold as a DEI candidate, and we have already heard how any criticism of her (known) policies is due to her race or being female. Now, her poll numbers are sliding, and we learn from Katty Kay that the problem behind this is – MEN. And Tim Walz is hoped to draw men to her campaign next week in the VP debate…against a man.

Gilded Reframe – CNN

  • We await the outrage heard from the resident media critic.

Last week on CNN, it was seen on a few programs that a photograph of a severely corpulent Donald Trump, standing with Laura Loomer, were displayed on a number of shows. Anderson Cooper displayed the image as well as it being seen on “The Lead With Jake Tapper,” and “Smerconish.” The problem is, this was a manipulated image made to make Trump appear to be nearly 350 pounds, by appearance.

CNN had to issue an on-air retraction, but what is notable is how Brian Stelter, the network’s media maven, has not addressed this embarrassment. He is, after all, the one who would leap to condemn Fox News had that network made such an error, while braying about how Fox does not have the journalistic ethics and editorial rigor that CNN possesses. What makes this mistake more glaring is that the picture did not derive from a media source but was pulled from a random Xitter account. This was an entirely reckless move by the network, so much so that Snopes has even addressed it.

Presentation Paradox – MSNBC

  • Everybody’s so different / I haven’t changed.”

It has been a tough week for Stephanie Ruhle. After starting off with glory as she had been tabbed to be one of the privileged few to speak with Kamala Harris, things have spiraled rapidly. The interview was a content disaster, her fawning approach was risible, and Ruhle sounded ridiculous as she later defended the candidate’s non-answers by saying the issues are too complex.

Now, she comes out and responds to a poll that showed how many voters favor the proposal to deport illegal immigrants. She calls the results “crazy,” unable to process that if a majority of people feel a certain way, then she is the one who has the outlier position on the matter. That is to say, it makes her far closer to being the crazy one.

Demo-lition Project – MSNBC

  • I blame this on the men who did not tune in!

Not to dogpile on Ms. Ruhle’s week, but there was an additional detail to emerge in the wake of her holistic interview with Kamala Harris. The interest level can be measured thusly:
The 7:00 pm airing was beat in the ratings by a regular Laura Ingraham broadcast.

Anti-Social Media – HOLLYWOOD

  • Since you are typecasting the network, you had no need to watch them in the first place.

This weekend, the Francis Ford Coppala film “Megalopolis” opens, and is expected to be a theatrical bomb. It cost $120 million to film, and the marketing is more. The film is expected to open with less than $10 million this weekend.

Aubrey Plaza plays a corrupt journalist, and on “The Daily Show,” she says she prepared for that by watching “a lot of Fox News.”
