An Illegal by Any Other Name is Still an Illegal

Joe Biden has attempted one of the oldest stunts in politics. He is now claiming that he's taking charge of the border and putting policies in place that will protect Americans. With five months to go before the election, this ploy is fooling no one.

Biden has spent the last 37 months ensuring that more illegals pour over our border than our country can accommodate. Moreover, Biden and company have gone out of their way to ensure that we are constantly flooded by illegals. When Chuck Schumer proposed a bill in late May, it was so poorly constructed that no Republican could possibly accept it. For one, it allowed two million new illegals to crash our gates every year.

An Uproar that Needs to Live On

In February, when Biden called Laken Riley's murderer an illegal, uproar ensued. The Left was irked because they wanted him to use the word ‘undocumented.’ They said that calling someone an illegal is dehumanizing. The murderer was in this country illegally. If illegal is not a useful term to describe this person, then I don't know what is.

Fifteen years ago, the one and only Chuck Schumer himself said that the American public is upset when gatecrashers to our country are called ‘undocumented.’ He said use of such terms was not being truthful and Americans knew this. Flash forward to today: Everyone on the Left insists on calling such individuals ‘undocumented.’

How does ‘undocumented’ accurately describe these individuals? Are they undocumented by the U.S. government, their previous governments, our border agents, or Alejandro Mayorkas? ‘Undocumented’ is a nebulous term that essentially means nothing.

The term doesn't tell you whether or not an individual has been tested for communicable diseases. It doesn't tell you whether or not an individual came with a family, and children. It doesn't tell you if they're a member of a particular group, such as a gang, which we especially don't want here.

Not Dehumanizing

On the Right, people were miffed because Biden was chastised by those on the Left for using an accurate term. The Venezuelan who murdered Laken Riley is an illegal. Calling him an illegal is appropriate. Nothing is dehumanizing about calling someone who shouldn't be here and who committed a heinous crime an illegal.

Meanwhile, the Left has demonstrated in ample ways that their concern for the victim is next to nothing, and their concern for the perpetrator apparently is paramount. Nothing could be more revolting than the likes of Nancy Pelosi, AOL, and a variety of other holier-than-thou types chiding Biden for employing the term ‘illegal.’ As such, Biden quickly declared that he had made an error, and he would never do it again. He would hereafter use the term ‘undocumented.’

News flash, Mr. Biden: this change in terminology is not going to win you any more votes. The Leftists who are already in your camp, woke beyond belief, and insanely out of touch with American society, are not going to be enough to get you elected. They represent a smaller group than you might imagine.

Meanwhile, everyone on the Right, and increasing numbers of independent voters, see your ploys for what they are. You practice a perverse form of political correctness that has no place in our society. Increasing numbers of Hispanic Americans also now see the Democratic party for what it is.

Crystal Clarity

In case I haven't made my point completely clear, the Venezuelan who violated and murdered Laken Riley is an illegal. He should have never been here, he should have never had the opportunity, and no one in their right mind should vote for more of the same type of people coming over the border. One is too many. 11 million is an attack on our civilization.

Democrats are seeking to accelerate the rate at which these illegals can vote in our elections and be counted in the census, thus impacting congressional districts. If we allow this to happen, we have ceded our ability to elect our own leaders.

With illegals from 160 different countries pouring over our borders, the United Nations and nearly 80% of the world's countries will have a say in who we elect. This is wrong, terribly wrong, and must not last.
