A Case Study of How Democrats Are Losing Latinos in Texas

Wendy Davis must enjoy losing.

She became a media darling several years ago for wearing pink shoes during a filibuster in the Texas Senate that she ultimately lost. She set a precedent for a long line of socialist losses in the Texas House. The losses, like the recent stunt pulled by Texas Socialists who abandoned their posts, were long on laziness but short on substance.

“No substance,” defined Wendy Davis’ runfor governor. She was blown out by 30 points. Thankfully that loss resulted in herlosing her state Senate seat. It was hilarious.

In 2020 she ran for Congress in a district that should have been favorable to her. But despite a fundraising advantage and the kind of positive media coverage that all the Republican money in the world literally cannot buy, Republican Chip Roy is the representative from Texas’ 21st District. He beat Wendy Davisby providing leadership that outshined Wendy’s sense of entitlement.

During that campaign, Davis was involved in a fracas and has now launched a lawsuit that she’s likely to lose. You may remember it -- a bus bearing Biden-Harris branding was rolling up a Texas interstate between events in October 2020 when some Trump supporters with flags on their trucks and cars pulled up near the bus. A white car bearing California plates appeared to try to push one of the Trump supporters’ truck off the road and all hell broke loose.

By the time it was over, somewhere in New Braunfels, the cops were involved but not of much use. And now there’s a lawsuit.

Texas Trump supporter Eliazar Cisneros, who goes by “Cisco,” was driving that black truck. He says, and the video seems to confirm, that a white SUV that was trailing the bus instigated the violence by pushing into his lane. Cisco says he and his friends were engaged in the time-honored tradition of telling leaders, or in this case Democrats, exactly what they think of them. When they heard the bus would be occupying Texas highways, they decided to give it and whoever was on it a rolling Bronx cheer. It’s the same spirit that led the Navy veteran to the Alamo during the height of the Black Lives Matter/antifa riots, when they were destroying American cities like hordes of locusts. “I’m protecting,” Cisco says. Protecting Texas from those who want to turn it blue and flush it down the California toilet.

During the highway incident, both the bus and the white SUV were “holy f*ck aggressive,” according to Cisneros.

No one was injured in the rolling protest. But now Cisneros, aTexas Latino, is facing a lawsuit from the lily-white leftist, loser, Wendy Davis. Davis and others who were on the bus, plus the unidentified driver of the SUV with the California plates, are suing Cisneros and his posse under the 1871 Ku Klux Klan acts. Republicans passed those laws to stop Democrat terrorism in the wake of the Civil War. Now a rich Democrat is using them to go after a person of color, a liberty loving Latino, for speaking his mind.If Wendy Davis were a Republican she’d be called a racist by the sycophantic press. But Because she’s attacking a conservative of color, the press appears to support her attempted punishment of a minority who has wondered off the liberal plantation, or dared to step out of the agricultural fields to push back against socialists.

Cisneros has enlisted one of the top lawyers in Texas, former Rep. Francisco “Quico” Canseco. The costs of the case are piling up and the ongoing threats to his life have gotten so severe that Cisneros has had to leave his home for weeks at a time and start a Give Send Go account. That’s probably the last thing this fearless Tejano ever thought he’d have to do for standing up for Texas.

I’m no lawyer, but looking at the laws Davis is using against Cisneros, her suit doesn’t seem to add up. The laws include a brief provision about using highways and being in disguise to prevent someone else from voting, which would be bad, but it’s not what happened that day. Not even close. Cisco’s apparent “disguise” was a big black truck festooned with pro-Trump and anti-Biden flags. All of that is legal. Hell, big black trucks and opposing Joe Biden are all but mandatory in Texas. As for the voting part, it wasn’t Election Day. The bus was driving between campaign events at which Davis would just deliver her standard pitch for every leftwing cause under the sun while mispronouncing “Texas.” Yes, according to real Texans, Wendy Davis even manages to say “Texas” wrong. That’s probably one reason she keeps losing.

Even if she loses this crazy lawsuit in the Texas Supreme Court, Cisco is still being punished. The legal fees are breaking his finances. Having to leave home to avoid the loving, tolerant left and its threats to kill him makes it hard to work. Here, again, is his GiveSendGo. Think of it as helping a veteran, while also helping the derangedDavis lose one more time.
