We live in unprecedented times, and one wonders, has any president ever succeeded in foreign policy like President Trump? Donald Trump has had many triumphs that will yield long-term results for both America and the rest of the world.
Concurrently, the mainstream media, which carries water for Democrats, disparages Donald Trump and Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, 24/7/365, claiming that their foreign policy initiatives have been disasters. The once honorable Washington Post, which has managed to undo a reputation that took more than 130 years to build, leads the bogus parade.
Trump flattened ISIS so quickly after taking office, that the liberal press had no time to formulate a propaganda strategy on how to deflate this victory. With Trump’s success at NATO, it is hard to overlook the benefits to the U.S. that he has racked up. As a result of Trump’s insistence, other members of NATO, not just the United States, will pay their fair share and, indeed, NATO's budget and defenses are stronger for it.
Obama Was Putin’s Puppet
Putin had a field day, actually eight years of them, kicking sand in Obama's face, manhandling Ukraine, annexing the Crimean Peninsula, propping up Assad in Syria, depleting a portion of the U.S. uranium stockpile, thumbing his nose at weapons treaties, and supporting Iran in myriad ways to undermine Obama's nuclear ‘deal.’ Putin had zero respect for Obama, considered him a joke, and displayed no concern for Obama’s feigned Russian ‘sanctions.'

By contrast, no one in the modern era has been tougher on Russia than president Trump. Despite the legions of fake news articles claiming that Trump is somehow in Putin's pocket, the facts speak for themselves. The Brookings Institute, not exactly a bastion of conservative thought, has conveniently published a roster of 52 sanctions or policies that Trump has employed to tighten the screws on Putin.
Trump's maneuver to move the U.S. Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem was just the start of his breakthroughs in the Middle East. The United Arab Emirates and Israel have signed a peace pact, and have already started regular plane flights to and from. They also have a variety of commercial and trade maneuvers in progress, all thanks to President Trump. Bahrain is now joining, and later maybe Saudi Arabia. Who can rightly deny that Trump is a negotiating genius?
Barack Obama, on his best day in any of his eight years, couldn’t hold a candle to what Trump does in the foreign policy arena on almost a weekly basis.
But Wait, There’s More
On the heels of the Israel–UAE peace agreement, the Trump Administration brokered a peace deal between Kosovo and Serbia. For those who are politically ignorant, these groups had been at each other's throats for decades. Kosovo, which is a 95.6% Muslim nation, and Serbia, which has been Christian for 12 centuries, are now poised to engage in commerce and trade unlike anything seen in that region for eons.
During Trump's first three years, his work with Canada and Mexico to carve out the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) will enable these three countries to achieve unprecedented trading success and propel the North American continent to even greater prosperity.
During the months prior to the COVID-19 breakout throughout the world, Trump had reached historic agreements with China. Since the breakout, he has castigated China in ways that few other leaders on earth have the gall to do. With North Korea, even getting the needle to swing a few degrees towards normalcy is more than Trump’s successors could muster. Trump also has solidified trade relations with Brazil, Japan, the UK, Poland, Switzerland, Germany, South Korea, and Netherlands.
Alfred Nobel Would be Proud
After a few months in office, Obama received the Nobel Peace award for his "extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between people," ...essentially for doing nothing. He spent the rest of his administration proving that he was unworthy, and should have sent it back.
The U.S. under President Trump is now withdrawing troops from around the world, and is no longer enamored with engaging in un-winnable, long-term wars, letting alone starting them.
By any measure, President Trump deserves the Nobel Peace Prize, three or even four times over. Don't hold your breath waiting for the Norwegian lefties to issue Trump the Peace Prize, despite two recent nominations. That is not why they're in business, and acknowledging reality is not their strong suit. They do not reward for breakthroughs in world peace; they only recognize individuals who ascribe to their predetermined narrative. That, and nothing more.
